I’m an HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist, Chartered with the British Psychological Society and Accredited EMDR Practitioner with over 27 years of qualified experience in NHS mental health services working with a diverse range of people with different mental health struggles. I work with adults and young people over 16.
My approach is warm, friendly and compassionate.

I can give you the tools you need to cope with difficult thoughts and feelings and build the life that you want.

MY SERVICES
IN PERSON THERAPY:
These are held at Regus, Fountain Court, 2 Victoria Square, St Albans AL1 3TF.

ONLINE THERAPY:
These are held on Google Meet. Many people prefer the convenience of not having to travel and being able to attend therapy from home, or perhaps in a break from work. Some people find they are just more comfortable in their own surroundings. I have been working online now for several years with amazing results.

​CLINICAL SUPERVISION:
I offer clinical supervision to psychologists and therapists, to give them a safe space to reflect about their work and help them to get even better results with their clients.

WORKSHOPS AND COACHING:
I provide bespoke training and coaching to public and private corporations. This helps to support your workforce's wellbeing, so that you grow a resilient and productive workforce, and allows your employees to reach their full potential.

WHAT TO EXPECT
As a Clinical Psychologist, I am trained in a range of psychological therapies including:

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)​
When you contact me I would first offer a 15 minute telephone consultation to make sure that I am a good fit for you and your struggles, and you wish to proceed.
We then book a 90 minute assessment session, where you will come to a deeper understanding of your difficulties and what is likely to help you to move forward.
After assessment we would begin psychology sessions which are usually 50 minutes long, on a weekly basis.

The length of therapy depends on your individual needs, and can be anywhere from 6-20 sessions, or can be longer term work. It is best to start sessions weekly, but this can vary as we progress.
